There are three zones inside the approx. 117 hectare park: The Ancient Forest Zone, The Ancient Field Zone, and Moat Encircled Village Zone. In each area, you can see the landscape and buildings of the ancient Japan. On top of that, coffins that were found at this site have also been reconstructed.
There are many interactive workshops in the park such as making Magatama (the armors in the ancient Japan), earth flute or burning a fire using ancient methods. Why don't you experience the life of ancient Japan by participating in these workshops?
In the Yoshonogari Historical Park restaurant, you can taste dishes made of local products and organic vegetables. Furthermore, the dishes are served with ancient red rice, which is what people used to eat back in the day. Therefore, you can experience food of the ancient Japan here.
