Inside of Yamashita Park is a rose garden that has around 400 flowers of 60 different types of roses. These roses bloom every year in the spring and fall. When it becomes rose season large amounts of visitors come to appreciate the multi-colored spectacle of the flowers. One special feature of the park is observing the beautiful flowers with the impressive Hikawa Maru ship and the Marine Tower in the background.

The night views from the Minatomirai district situated right next to Yamashita Park are also miraculous. After the sun sets, the Marine Tower which stands before the park lights up with romantic illuminations. In fact, the whole surrounding area is illuminated enveloping Yamashita Park in a fantastical glow.
