Uto Jinja

Uto Jinja in Aomori city, Aomori prefecture, is a shrine that enshrines three goddesses who are the daughters of Amaterasu Omikami, known as the god of national foundation in Japan. It is said that the shrine existed here from the ancient times. It was rebuilt in 807 by a military officer at that time, and later in 1641, it was designated as one of the leading shrines in Aomori prefecture. It has been loved by people in Aomori since then as a shrine that has various divine favors including the safety of the family, traffic safety, and business success.
