Toyota Commemorative Museum of Industry and Technology

Toyota Commemorative Museum of Industry and Technology is a museum of the world famous automobile company Toyota that opened in Nagoya in 1994. In fact, Nagoya is the birthplace of the group. In the Textile Machinery Pavilion, you see how the technology of making thread and making a fabric from that thread has changed over time. In the Automobile Pavilion, you will see how automobiles work and how the technology of developing and producing automobiles has changed. In the Toyota Group Pavilion, you can see many personal belongings of the founder of Toyota. Many important articles are exhibited and preserved in this museum.

Textile Machinery Pavilion

Textile Machinery Pavilion is located in the spacious 3,000-square-meter large spinning mill that was built in the beginning of the 1900s. Here, there are more or less 90 spinning machines. You can take a close look at how the technology of spinning and weaving has developed.

Automobile Pavilion

The spacious Automobile Pavilion looks like a real automobile factory. In addition to the exhibition of the famous Toyota automobiles created in the past, you can see the technology for producing automobiles as well as the mechanisms of automobiles and its components. On top of that, you can see how real-time production of automobiles is organized.

Technoland

In Technoland, there are many innovative toys created by the logic and the mechanism of weaving machines or automobiles. Playing with 12 types of unconventional toys, children can learn the joy of creating objects. There is also a kids corner and children's library where small children can have fun.
