(Source : )
Tamahide is a historic shamo chicken specialty restaurant established in 1760. This renowned establishment has been passing on the secret recipe over 250 years, preserving the taste of the Edo era alive to this date. It's also known for first creating oyako-don (chicken and egg rice bowl) and enjoys such a popularity that there is always a line to get in. The shamo chicken dishes and oyako-don are all delicacies, wonderful in taste such that once tasted, you won't be able to forget. During dinner, only course menus are available with oyako-don so if you wish to have the oyako-don only, it's recommended to go during lunch.
