Shibuya Center Gai Niku Yokocho

(Source : )
Japan’s largest meat themed park, Niku Yokocho or Meat Alley (meat restaurant complex), is located in Center Gai, Shibuya. It consists of 24 restaurants specializing in meat dishes spread over the expansive second and third floor of a building. The atmosphere is a nostalgic retrospective design based on a food stall area from 1950’s to 1970’s Japan. The aroma of meat as it is cooked wafts out from the various restaurants. This is a popular dining spot, with almost all of the restaurants full with diners by the time its 7 pm. Eat your fill of Japan’s renowned wagyu beef, as well as original Japanese styles of meat dishes.
