Somen has a history of more than 1,200 years. Miwa somen is fine handmade somen which has been made in Miwa region in Nara prefecture from long ago. It is said the thinner it is, the higher quality. And its thinness is only about 1 millimeter. The delicate texture and the way it goes down your throat is very satisfying.

When you order "Hiyashi somen tempura tsuki" (945 yen), fresh and crispy shrimp tempura, egg plant, Japanese green pepper and sweet potato comes with the somen.
