Under the main entrance of the main hall, there is an offering box on the floor, which is also a pitfall. In the well, there is another hole on the side for escaping. It is said to be the way that leads to the Kanazawa Castle. On the floor, there is a hidden staircase, which has an auto-lock system. On top of that, there is another trap staircase underneath!
This staircase is partly made with shoji paper. Therefore, if you wait behind the stairs, you know when enemies step on the stairs by their shadows. Shoji paper is a type of Japanese paper used on the windows in Japanese houses. Light passes through it, so you can see the shadows behind it.
