KYOTO TOWER SANDO is a commercial facility located on the basement to the second floor of Kyoto Tower, one of the most famous sightseeing spots in Kyoto. It has around 55 restaurants and souvenir shops, all of them are long-established and famous stores. The workshop floor on the second floor is especially getting a lot of attention in this huge facility. Visitors can join workshops to experience traditional Japanese culture by making nama-yatsuhashi, traditional Kyoto sweets, or painting on folding fans, and making sushi while being instructed by sushi chefs.
