In the observation deck, there is a shrine for Tawawa-chan, a character that was created to commemorate the 50-year anniversary of Kyoto Tower. It is well-known as a shrine located in the highest place in Kyoto city, “the shrine close to the sky.” Things that you can't get anywhere else such as adorable Ema, small wooden plaques for prayers, and Omikuji, fortunes, are sold here.

In the lower part of the building of Kyoto Tower, there is a public bath that is open from 7 am. Along with this, there are restaurants and stores too. The Sky Lounge on the third floor of observation room is popular as a cafe to enjoy the landscape during the day, and a bar to have a relaxing time with the glittering night view after dark.
