This is the path leading to Joren falls and is a beautiful walkway surrounded by a lush forest. In the river, there are plenty of freshwater fish like ayu (sweetfish), and people who come here to fish can be seen as well. Take a walk while taking in the freshness of this therapeutic, clean air.

The water from Joren falls is ideal for growing wasabi, which only grows in clear water. Wasabi fields are densely lined up next to the falls. While ground wasabi is known worldwide, the difference can really be tasted in the raw wasabi from this area. It has a strong flavor as opposed to the spiciness to other wasabi and has a fresh aftertaste.
