In the north side of the plateau, there are volcanic lakes including Fudo-ike, Rokkannonmi-ike and Byakushi-ike. Ebino Park is also a very popular photo spot, where beautiful seasonal scenes can be enjoyed throughout the whole year.

Seasonal Scenic Beauty of Ebino Kogen

During spring through early summer at Ebino Kogen, one can see Nokaido flowers, which is a registered natural monument and unique to this area in the world, and Miyama Kirishima, the azalea species that represents Kirishima.
