A la Campagne

(Source : 食べログ)
Situated in a popular touristic site, Furano, with beautiful lavender fields and flower-covered hills, A la Campagne is a French restaurant where you can try seasonal dishes of Furano. The owner and the chef of this restaurant are both from Hokkaido. They opened this restaurant because they loved the products, the place and people of Furano. As a result, this restaurant mainly serves dishes made of locally produced products. The dishes, made of colorful and fresh vegetables that are delivered from local farmers, are colorful and splendid.

Local products, delivered directly from farms, are served

Based on the concept, "a restaurant that offers the products of Furano, delivered directly from farms," the restaurant serves dishes made of locally grown vegetables from nearby farms and the vegetables grown at the owner's place. It also serves locally raised brand meat, such as Japanese Furano beef and Kamifura pork. Most ingredients used in the dishes contain local products.

Furano's famous Ezo deer meat!

I recommend you to try a dinner course menu, called "Furano Ezo deer course" (4,500 yen). Professional hunters hunt and cut deer into pieces. The meat tastes excellent and doesn't have a strong smell. In addition to the main dish, "Roti of Ezo deer of Furano", in total of 11 dishes, that contain more than 30 types of fresh locally grown vegetables of Furano, are served.

Lunch course menu with reasonable price!

For lunch time, I recommend you to try "Menu B" (2,500 yen)! It starts with a bowl of soup. In the main meat or fish dish, plenty of seasonal vegetables of Furano are served. On top of that, there are 5 types of handmade desserts to choose from. They are all chef's recommended desserts.
