Yokohama Nogeyama Zoo

This popular Nogeyama Zoo has the longest standing history in Kanagawa Prefecture. The admission is free and it is home to over 100 species of animals. The zoo is easily accessible as it is located in the heart of the City of Yokohama which is a principal city in Kanagawa. It offers a popular corner where visitors can interact with small animals. Kindergarten students often visit this zoo on field trips. This zoo is for everyone to enjoy.

Indian Peacock Walks Freely

The unique feature of this zoo is that Indian Peacocks walk freely on the premises. The purpose is to prevent the peacocks from fighting with each other, but you are safe as they are accustoms to humans. You will witness a rare white peacock as well.
