Tosuiro, Kiyamachi Main Branch

(Source : 食べログ)
This specialty restaurant of tofu cuisine prides itself with its smooth tofu that melts in the mouth, made with 100% domestically produced soy. The interior of the restaurant is full of ambience and is in a traditional Kyoto style residence "machiya" located in a quiet alley. Here you can enjoy seasonal tofu dishes while looking at the Kamogawa river. One of the popular dishes is the kaiseki (Japanese course menu with many small dishes) cuisine limited to lunch time and changing every season. During summer, a terrace called "kawayuka" is extended above the river, so that you can feel the season even better while you dine.
