Situated on the 45th floor of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building, you can look over the city of Tokyo from the Observatories for free. There are two observatory decks: North Observatory Deck and South Observatory Deck. As a result, you can look over Tokyo from various angles in both observatory decks. Since each observatory deck has a different view on the city, both are highly recommended.

If you want to have a cheap and delicious meal, you can stop by Shokuin Shokudo. You can find this restaurant in two places: on the 32th floor in building No.1 and on the 4th floor in building No.2. 9:30-23:00 (South Observatory Deck open until 17:30, open until 23:00 when the North Observatory Deck is closed); South Observatory Deck is closed on the first and third Tuesday, the North Observatory Deck is closed on the second and fourth Monday. *Open on holidays, but closed on the following day. *Both Observatory decks are closed during year-end holidays.
