Cafe TAKEYA

Cafe Takeya is located in front of a popular tourism site, Takegawara onsen (hot spring) in Beppu, Oita. Takegawara onsen was opened in 1879 and attracts many visitors from Japan and overseas for sand baths. Takeya offers authentic coffee that is carefully brewed after being ordered. You can enjoy local dishes, including Dango-jiru (Japanese dumpling soup) and Yaseuma (thick, wide, and handmade wheat noodles covered with soy flour and cane sugar), with coffee. Takeya also offers a take-out menu such as curry pan (deep-fried bread stuffed with curry) and soft serve. The take-out menu is perfect if you want to walk and eat!
