Shinsaibashi

Shinsaibashi is the main downtown area representing Osaka, where buildings and hotels are lined up. It can be characterized by its many faces, such as the shopping area "Shinsaibashi-suji Shotengai" that is always full with locals and tourists, from which Midosuji, the street that runs across Osaka city, extends with its avenue of ginkgo trees, where seasonal excursions can be enjoyed. It is an attractive spot to make a base for your sightseeing, as it has good access to Osaka's main tourist spots like Dotonbori, America-mura and Umeda.
