Ikeri Miwa Somen-chaya Senjutei specializes in "Miwa somen", one of the Japanese famous noodles. Somen is very thick noodle made with wheat flour. When you order "Hiyashi somen tempura tsuki" (945 yen), fresh and crispy shrimp tempura, egg plant, Japanese green pepper and sweet potato comes with the somen. They carefully adjust heating power when they boil somen and provide firm noodle firmed up with cold water. Besides white somen, you can choose from three colors; egg, matcha and white. They also have a la carte cold somen (756 yen).
