Rausu Ryori at Umiaji Hachikyo

Rausu Ryori at Umiaji Hachikyo

(Source : 食べログ)
Rausu-cho is a fishery town in east Hokkaido and is blessed with the sea of Shiretoko with rich plankton. Rausu ryori Umiaji Hachikyo Honten (main branch) is a popular Japanese-style pub that buys in only good-quality ingredients for Rausu. Especially, Tsukko meshi which originated in this restaurant is a very popular menu where a large portion of salmon caviar is served on rice in a bowl just in front of the customer. A lot of tourists and others come here everyday to taste Rausu's delicious meals which people cannot eat easily in Sapporo  and to enjoy the bustling atmosphere in the restaurant.

Sashimi to fully enjoy Rausu's seafood

If you want to enjoy the taste of Rausu, the seafood paradise, our recommendation is Sashimi Zuppari-mori (1,580 yen). This is an assorted sashimi plate with the best sashimi of each season. The taste of seafood landed in one of the largest fishery town is much different from that in other place.
