Nezu Kamachiku

(Source : )
A popular udon restaurant from Osaka that always has a queue has now opened in Tokyo. This much-talked about restaurant has appeared in the Michelin Guide 2015. The restaurant is in a beautifully renovated stone warehouse that was originally built in the Meiji Era; a stunning Japanese garden and classy atmosphere make this udon restaurant quite different from any other. The specialty here is kama-age udon (udon served with a dipping sauce). Their collection of Japanese sake is impressive, and many customers enjoy a drink even during the day. Spend some time here, an ambiance you can only experience in Japan.

Proud of handmade, smooth noodles

The smooth, teuchi noodles (handcrafted) come with a flavorful dipping sauce made form three kinds of bonito stock. You can even choose the thickness of the noodles. We recommend placing the toppings in this order: green onion, agetama (tempura bits), shichimi (seven spices) and ginger.

Perfected Flavors at a Specialty Restaurant

The signature item on the menu is certainly Kama-age udon (850 yen, large 950 yen)! The udon, made simply from flour and salt, goes very well with the rich dashi stock. You will experience a moment of unbelievable pleasure.

For Sake Lovers

Their kamo rosu (seared marinated duck, 650 yen) pairs very well with any number of sake offered here that has been collected from all over Japan. The distinct flavor, aroma and texture of the duck and sweetness of sake enhance each other's flavor.
