Koiwai Farm

Koiwai Farm is a popular tourist spot in Iwate. It is the biggest private farm in Japan spread across approx. 3,000 hectares containing more or less 300 sheep walking freely. You can also enjoy a horse ride as pure bred horses and miniature horses are also raised here. On top of that, there are in total 2,000 cows raised in Koiwai Farm. As a result, you can taste dishes prepared using fresh milk and beef in the restaurant situated inside the farm.

Bokujo Kan, a restaurant specializing in lamb and beef barbecue

Bokujo Kan is situated inside the farm. Here, you can try tasty dishes made of good quality meat produced in the farm. I particularly recommend the lamb barbecue often referred to as "Genghis Khan" in Japan! Try tasty dishes made using fresh ingredients that come directly from the farm.
