(Source : )
Yamamoto-tei was built as a residence of Yamamoto Einosuke, the founder of Yamamoto Plant Limited Partnership, a manufacturer of camera components. It is highly rated because the style of the building is elaborate for a private residence and it has a beautiful Japanese garden. It is now registered as a Tangible Cultural Property by Katsushika ward. It blends Western-style architecture with original Japanese styles and shows the great harmony of these two. It is a precious cultural property where you can see a former residence of a wealthy person in Japan and attracts many foreign tourists.
