Kaisendokoro Hakodateyama, located near Hakodate station, is a popular seafood izakaya (Japanese-style pub) which was established 30 years ago. Because the shop has its own fish tank in front of the counter, there is a constant supply of fresh seafood! There is a variety of seafood available such as surf clams, scallops, tuna and oysters, including Hakodate’s speciality squid. Further, the current market price is not displayed on the seafood making it reasonable and hence, you can try to your heart's content.
