Nara Koen (Nara Park)

(Source : )
The large Nara Park is spread over an area of 4km east to west and 2km from north to south. The park is home to numerous temples, shrines and cultural facilities. You can see the stunning autumn colors of cherry trees and Chinese tallow trees on Mt. Wakakusa that stands on the east side of the park. The Chinese tallow trees have the most beautiful foliage after mid-October, and the maple trees are at their peak from mid-November through early December.
