Jimo no Tei is situated right near the entrance of "Seigyo Dori-guchi" of the fish market called Omicho Ichiba market, in the center of Kanazawa, Ishikawa. This restaurant is famous for a kaisendon (rice bowl with sashimi on it). In fact, it is served with so many thick slices of sashimi that are hardly contained on the bowl. It is a very popular place where the line of people waiting to eat during lunch time goes outside of the restaurant. In addition to very fresh sashimi and donburi (rice bowl), this restaurant has many side dishes, local delicious dishes and local sake. Many people adore special donburi with local yellowtail and crabs, available during certain season. As the name of the restaurant indicates, it is a place where you can have great "local" fish.
