Hirasou is an old, established Japanese restaurant where you can enjoy "Kakimoha-zushi", a signature dish of Nara. Kakinoha-zushi is the traditional local cuisine made with bite sized vinegar rice and sashimi of mackerel and salmon wrapped in kakinoha, persimmon leaves. You can enjoy a variety of traditional cuisine including "Ayu-zushi", which has a history of over 150 years and has been presented to emperors before they started business and "Nara-chameshi", rice and cereals or millet boiled by tea. They have a variety of lunch dishes and the location is great for taking a break from your stroll in Nara.
