Hakone Gora Park

Hakone Gora Park has a history of more than 100 years and was registered as a tangible cultural property of Japan in 2014. It is the first French-style garden in Japan with a pond and flowerbeds arranged symmetrically. There are various kinds of plants in the park including flowers of each season. There are many enjoyable facilities such as the tea room that serves green tea, tropical flora house that exhibits rare plants all through the year, and a hands-on workshop where you can make original mugs.

Tropical flora house and the herb garden has a range of rare tropical plants and herbs. You can see various tall trees and beautiful flowers inside. They even have a small waterfall, the sound of which will make you relax while you stroll around. It is an indoor facility you can enjoy even on rainy days.
