This yakitori (grilled skewered chicken) izakaya (Japanese-style pub) has been in business since before World War II. The soy-based sauce used for yakitori has been replenished continuously since right after the war. The aged jar that holds the sauce tells the long history of the restaurant. The sweet sauce of yakitori and yakiton (grilled pork)  will stimulate your appetite. They are reasonably priced, but you get a 10 yen discount if you order for takeout. Immerse yourself in the Japanese izakaya culture.

Another special dish is gyu motsu nikomi (stewed beef giblets, 660 yen) that is stewed in a big pot for a long time. Since the beginning, this restaurant has specialized in offal dishes and the taste is out of this world. This dish is seasoned with a hint of sweetness like the skewered meats.
