Ginza Line service will be partially suspended from Dec 28-Jan 2! (Tokyo)

The Tokyo Metro Ginza Line is one of the oldest subway train lines in Tokyo and connects many popular sightseeing areas like Shibuya, Shimbashi, Ueno and Asakusa. Due to the expansion of the Shibuya Station, the Ginza Line operations will be suspended in certain sections of the line.
If you're thinking of using it while traveling in Tokyo, make a note of other transfer options in advance!

Period: December 28, 2019-January 2, 2020 Route: Shibuya - Omotesando, Aoyama Itchome - Tameike-Sanno

During this period, the subway will operate only between Omotesando station to Aoyama Itchome station and then from Tameike-Sanno to Asakusa station.
So if you plan to visit Shibuya, use other lines like the Yamanote line, Hanzomon Line or Fukutoshin Line.
