A joy for the senses: the new LUSH store in Shinjuku, Tokyo

The new LUSH store in Shinjuku opened earlier this month and it is much bigger than the earlier store that was extremely popular among tourists.
One of the most well-known vegan beauty brands around the world, it has gained momentum in Japan with a surge of tourists from Asian countries where LUSH is still unavailable. Right outside the East Exit of Shinjuku station, this is the first store in Japan where you can buy the full range of cosmetics that were only available online so far.
From base makeup to lipsticks, you can try each item on one of the three spacious floors. Let's check out the pop of colors on each floor!
The first floor has displays of foundations, contour sticks, lipsticks, eye shadows, liners, etc. You can try all of the products with the help of the staff.
The freshly-made face masks have an intoxicating aroma and you almost want to eat what's there!
The display of face and body washes is unbelievably cute.

You can also buy flowers here! Wouldn't it be a perfect gift for a friend along with a Lush product?
The second floor is dedicated to hair care, oral and lip care, and perfumes!
The perfume library has a range of scents; you can get a whiff of each of these through these rocks.
If you get tired of looking around, you can sit and enjoy some music on this floor too - probably where your male travel companions will hang out.
The third floor is dedicated to one of the most hit products by LUSH: bath bombs!
Probably the most variety of bath bombs both in terms of shapes and flavors.
These mini bath bombs are actually oil-based and help moisturize your skin.
Other than the original products, there are also Shinjuku specials from bags to lipsticks. The bags, wrapping cloths and T-shirts also make for good souvenirs!
If you download the LUSH Labs app, you can use the store WiFi and get information on each product just by pointing your camera to it.
For those averse to plastic packaging, you can choose from a range of naked bath soaps and shampoos!
Of course, you can also buy set gift packs that come in these vibrant colors.
In case you didn't know, you can return five empty containers to get a face mask, which is worth 1200-1500 yen for free. A great eco-friendly initiative that focuses on recycling!

Hope you get a chance to drop by in this gorgeous store!
