Yamanakako Hananomiyako Park is a park where seasonal flowers bloom beautifully within a spacious area of 300,000 sq. meters. As Yamanakako is the closest lake to Mt. Fuji, you can see a view of the flower fields and the great Mt. Fuji in the background. The biggest characteristic is that in every season there are different flowers blooming such as tulips in spring, sunflowers in summer, and cosmos in autumn. During winter, there are illumination events and you can also see diamond Fuji when the sunset overlaps with the mountain top. Inside the park, there is Seiryu no Sato, a water and flower theme park for having fun with the whole family.

Beautiful Flowers in Every Season

The biggest attraction of Hananomiyako Park is that Mt. Fuji can be seen in the background of the various flower fields. Not only do different flowers bloom in spring, summer and autumn but during winter, snow covers the whole area and snow flakes stick onto branches, resembling flowers. It is a park that offers beautiful views regardless of which season you visit.

The mythical sunset appearing behind the mountain is breathtakingly beautiful. It is a rare sight that can only be seen from a specific location at specific times.
