Mikuniya

Mikuniya is a soba shop that always has a queue, located along the Yutaki-dori, the main street of the renowned hot spring Kusatsu Onsen and has been loved by not only locals but also tourists for over 50 years. Its attraction that has locals queue is incredibly delicious soba with three ideal features called “san tate”: freshly grated (hiki-tate), freshly made (uchi-tate), and freshly cooked (yude-tate)! You can always enjoy these “san tate” soba at a reasonable price and the shop’s popularity has continuously spread by word of mouth because of this.
