Iiyamatei

Iiyamatei is the only shop specialized in Kamameshi in Kusatsu Onsen area, located near Yubatake (hot spring field), a landmark of Kusatsu Onsen and Sainokawara Park, one of the popular tourist spots of Kusatsu city where visitors can enjoy open-air hot spring baths. Kamameshi is a rice dish that is seasoned rice cooked in a small pot together with various ingredients such as meat and vegetables. You can select from more than 20 Kamameshi made with local ingredients here. Your kamameshi is cooked to order and will always be served right after being cooked.
