Not only Tsurunoyu Onsen but seven other hot springs such as Kuroyu Onsen where you can see the hot spring well up, or Kyuka-mura Nyuto Onsenkyo which is surrounded by a beautiful beech forest, each have various features. Bathing fees are less than 1,000 yen in all hot springs.

Outdoor hot spring surrounded by autumn leaves
You can see beautiful autumn leaves usually from mid- to late October. Taenoyu Onsen, which has an outdoor bath, along the mountain stream is the best spot for autumn leaves. Another amazing one is Kuroyu Onsen where you will feel like you are being surrounded by a forest full of autumn leaves as you relax in the hot spring.

In Nyuto Onsenkyo, you can buy "Nyuto Onsenkyo Yu-meguri-cho" which allows you to enter each of the seven hot spring facilities once. It costs 1,550 yen and is effective period for one year from the purchase date. We recommend this for people who visit many hot springs because you can take a bus named Yu-meguri-go which does loops around Nyuto Onsenkyo and you can use it as many times as you want.
