Lake Kawaguchi

Mt. Fuji is the highest mountain in Japan at an altitude of 3,776 m, and is regarded as a leading landmark. Although you can view this mountain together with cherry blossom trees at various places in spring, Lake Kawaguchi near Mt. Fuji is especially one of the most famous spots among them, because you can enjoy a view of the lake, cherry blossoms, and the mountain all together from its north bank. You will be entranced by the color gradation of blue water, white snow covering the mountain, and pink and red of sakura in full bloom. This is a precious view of Mt. Fuji that you can see only in spring.
