Transparent Floor of “the Sky Walk”
The first floor of a five-floor observation platform has an area called “the sky walk” where you can walk on a transparent floor at a height of 75 meters. The floor becomes transparent when you get near. The transparent floor shows everything beneath it and makes you feel as if you are walking in the sky.

The unique structure and the shape of the Kobe Port Tower as well as its 40 kinds of superb illuminations add colors to the port of Kobe. It was awarded the Prizes of Architectural Institute of Japan and Good Lighting Award by the Illumination Engineering Institute of Japan. It was designated as a registered tangible cultural property of Japan in 2014. The illumination that changes with the season and for events offers a must-see scenery.
