ITALO is a locally popular authentic Italian restaurant, located near the entrance of Kusatsu Onsen, one of Japan’s top three hot springs. Its name came from “Italo Japonese (Italian Japanese)” and contains the owner’s passion to serve authentic Italian dishes made with seasonal ingredients produced in Japan to customers. As its name implies, the restaurant is proud of offering very delicious Italian dishes made with seasonal ingredients produced locally, including locally-harvested mountain vegetables, mushrooms and fresh homegrown vegetables.
