Himi Banya-gai in Himi city, Toyama prefecture, is a complex facility that includes a market outside the Himi fishing port where you can buy and eat fresh seafood caught in Toyama Bay, souvenir shops where you can buy local specialties, and a natural hot spring called Himi Onsenkyo So-yu. Himi city is known as a beautiful coastal town. The observation deck at Himi Banya-gai has a great view of Tateyama mountain range floating above Toyama Bay and Karashima, a natural monument designated by the prefecture located 500 m off Himi fishing port.

Himi Onsenkyo So-yu, the hot spring in Himi Banya-gai is a good place where you can unwind from the fatigue of your travels. So-yu is a natural hot spring that uses spring water only once. It is said that it has effects in improving blood circulation and soothing pain. There is also a free foot bath where you can relax with a view of the Tateyama mountain range.
